My Blog

Today we were told that we have to blog, I'm not sure that I understand how to do it. I hope that someone will be able to read this one day because it will be worthless if no one can read it. I am a new teacher and am deep into the 8th grade. I really like teaching so far except for all the student talking all day, oh to be 13 again. I wish I had a magic wand to make exciting lessons that would inspire the students to jump into education. I have finally come up with using real life materials such as, newspapers and articles from the Internet. They seem very responsive to that, and then we head to math and I lose them. Well maybe I will get it exciting before May! Ha, Ha. Can't wait to take my first field trip, want to see the Mystery Castle, Hasiampa, hiking, and to the symphony.
